Bayside is, if nothing else, about kids! So we do our best to
arrange fun stuff for kids of all ages (through age 19), with
age-appropriate groups, activities, and supervision for three hours every
morning.
'Tween's Morning Program
Campers 11 years and up have several options:
- attend the Youth Day Camp (described below)
- join a group led by a Bayside Camp youth leader who works with the
kids to put together a week's worth of engaging activities
- take advantage of fee-based water courses, including water safety, small craft safety, sailing, and board sailing
offered at nearby camps
- hike the lake
- chill
- sleep until noon (not!), comb their hair over their eyes, mumble
unintelligible responses to adult conversation, and become
disagreeable and anti-social
- mature teens (15 and older) are welcome to join adult workshops
Youth Day Camp
Campers 6 - 11 years may participate in a week of organized games, creative play,
environmental education, water carnivals and more. Led by Wesley Woods staff.
Children's Pre-School Program
3-5 year olds (potty trained) participate in fun and
educational activities with the Wesley Woods staff.
Small Fry Childcare
Usually childcare can be arranged at camp between other campers and the
Wesley Woods staff. Please discuss your childcare needs in advance with
the camp registrar. Since those under three attend Bayside Camp for
free, any sitter fees are at the parent's expense.
If you would like more information, please feel free to
contact the camp registrar:
