I play the musical saw -- a sound I've loved since I was a little kid. In about 1989 or so, I saw an ad in the back of a Rolling Stone magazine for a place where you could buy them, persuaded my then-fiancée that a musical saw would make an excellent wedding gift from her to me, and subsequently spent the greater part of our honeymoon mastering it.
