I play the musical saw -- a sound I've loved since I was a little kid.  In about 1989 or so, I saw an ad in the back of a Rolling Stone magazine for a place where you could buy them, persuaded my then-fiancée that a musical saw would make an excellent wedding gift from her to me, and subsequently spent the greater part of our honeymoon mastering it.

It's like we both attended the prom wearing the same dress.

As an additional coincidence, Miss Richfield 1981 and I both obtained our musical saws from the same place: the inestimable MUSSEHL & WESTPHAL of East Troy, Wisconsin.
